Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy
The short version: You can cancel any time, in two clicks, from account settings. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Your first purchase has a 14-day money-back window. Where your local law gives you stronger rights, those rights win.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. Payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
1. Free trial
New subscriptions may begin with a 7-day free trial. Before the trial starts you will see: the plan, the price, the calendar date your trial ends and the first charge occurs, and how to cancel. You must separately tick a box agreeing to the automatic start of the paid subscription. We email you a reminder at least 3 days before your first charge. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
2. Billing and renewal
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — your payment contract is with Paddle and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply (paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms). Prices at checkout include applicable taxes where Paddle must collect them. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. We send: a receipt for each charge; an annual reminder of your plan, its price and how to cancel; and, for any term of one year or longer, a reminder 30 days before renewal. Price changes: at least 30 days' email notice, effective from your next renewal, with cancellation instructions.
3. How to cancel
Any of these works:
- In the app: Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription (two clicks; if we show a retention offer, a "Cancel now" button remains visible at all times).
- The cancellation link in our website footer.
- Email justduedate7@gmail.com from your account email with the word "Cancel".
Cancellation is effective at the end of your current paid period; you keep access until then. Israeli consumers: recurring charges stop within 3 business days of your notice (6 if by registered mail). We confirm every cancellation by email.
4. Refunds
- 14-day money-back on your first purchase. If you are unhappy, tell us within 14 days of your first charge and we will refund it in full via Paddle.
- EU/UK consumers — statutory withdrawal: you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. Because you asked us to start the service immediately (the checkout checkbox), if you withdraw mid-period we may retain a proportionate amount for the period already supplied and refund the rest. Contact us or Paddle; the model withdrawal instructions are in your confirmation email.
- Israeli consumers: remote-sale cancellation within 14 days of purchase (refund within 14 days of your notice; any cancellation fee is capped by law at the lower of 5% or NIS 100 and is not charged where the cancellation follows a fault of ours); plus the right to cancel the ongoing subscription at any time with a refund of amounts paid for periods after cancellation takes effect.
- Renewal charges: if you meant to cancel and were charged for a new period without having used it, contact us within 14 days of the charge — our default is to refund the unused renewal.
- Service discontinuation or removal of a material paid feature: pro-rata refund of the unused period.
- Refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method. Nothing here limits your non-waivable statutory rights or Paddle's Buyer Terms; where they give you more, you get more.
5. Failed payments and disputes
Failed renewals may be retried by Paddle; paid features may pause after a grace period. Billing questions: justduedate7@gmail.com or Paddle support (paddle.net). Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — we resolve almost everything faster.
