How Our AI Works

Version 1.0 · Effective date: July 22, 2026

What the AI does

Justduedate7 uses AI for one job: ranking your own items — the emails, events and tasks from accounts you connected — so you can see what likely needs attention first. The AI produces a priority score and a short explanation for each item. That's it. It does not send emails, reply to anyone, move or edit your tasks, or make decisions about other people.

How it works

  1. When you sync, we collect the items to be ranked: titles/subjects, senders, dates and deadlines — and, for a limited number of your most recent emails, the message text, which is read transiently for scoring.
  2. This content is sent to Google's Gemini API (paid tier), our AI provider, which returns a score and a short reason per item.
  3. Email bodies are discarded after scoring — we do not store them. We store the score, the short reason, and the item metadata shown on your dashboard.
  4. Every AI output in the product is labelled "AI-generated."

What the AI does not do

Google user data

The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not retain user data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train non-personalized AI and/or machine-learning models.

Its limits — please read this

AI scoring is probabilistic. It will sometimes rank a critical email low or an unimportant one high. Treat Justduedate7 as an assistant, not a system of record: keep checking your own inbox and calendar for anything time-critical. If the AI service is unavailable, your items still appear, without AI ranking.
